A tribute the the Pre-Raphaelite era - where the most recognisable feature is the long beautiful curly hair of the woman depicted.

Back in Victorian society - women’s hair was strictly subjected to a number of social etiquettes where ladies had to pin their hair up. Only the husband could see a lady’s unbraided hair whilst she was undressing.

These paintings all convey intimacy and eroticism that were all of a private matter. This candle pays tribute to this era, with its large curved edges standing at 36cm tall and its elegance.
